According to the Boston Courant, the Church of Scientology is moving ahead with its plan to move its Boston headquarters from the Back Bay to the South End.
The Scientologist’s attorney is quoted as saying the organization plans on listing its Back Bay headquarters for sale next month. Last year, he estimated the value of the building at million.
Once that property has been listed for sale, the organization will submit its plans for its new headquarters. The Scientologists purchased the historic Alexandra Hotel, last year. It plans on renovating the building and adding one story, according to the Courant article.
